Privacy Policy

Effective date: 17 September 2026

FreeCircuitSim ("we", "this site") is operated from Australia. This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use freecircuitsim.com.

What we don't collect

The simulator itself requires no account, no email address and no personal details. Circuits you build are encoded into the page URL or stored in your own browser's local storage — they are never uploaded to our servers. We do not sell personal information.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard technical server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver the site securely. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertising, which keeps the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or learn more at aboutads.info. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising policies.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate site usage — pages visited, device type, and country. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individuals.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, the details you provide (name, optional email, message) are processed by Netlify Forms and used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the Australian Privacy Act, GDPR, or CCPA), you may have rights to access or request deletion of personal data. Since we hold almost none, most requests concern the contact form — use it to reach us and we'll action any request promptly.

Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
